Nancy Whiteman, The Queen Of Edibles | Herb’s Highly Creative

Nancy Whiteman is a long time cannabis businesswoman. She is the co-founder and CEO of Wana Brands. This top-selling Colorado-based cannabis brand offers recreational and medicinal cannabis products that include gummies, tarts, drops, capsules, and vape pens with various formulations and potencies. Nancy has been called The Queen of Legal Weed by Inc. and The Martha Stewart of Edibles by Entrepreneur. She was included in the 35 Most Influential Women in Cannabis, and she was one of six women in High Times 100 in 2019. Nancy has also been featured in multiple media like Forbes and CNBC. She has won recognitions like the MJBizDaily’s 2019 Industry Impact Award in December 2019 and the 3rd position in Cannabis Business Executive’s 2019 Power Women in Cannabis.

Nancy is not what you would expect of someone with such involvement and a prominent position in the cannabis industry. She had worked for over a decade in marketing and owned a marketing consulting firm before getting into cannabis in 2010. By that time, Nancy lived in Colorado, just when the state legalized cannabis for medicinal purposes. Nancy initially experimented and sold various infused snacks before turning to gummies in 2012. Two years later, when Colorado legalized recreational cannabis, she began selling THC infused gummies, and her sales skyrocketed. Today, Wana is the leading edible brand in the U.S, it has more than a dozen product offerings and is present in nine states. Last year, Wana was the best selling edible company in the U.S and now aims to expand to all legal states and Canada.
