Jim Belushi To Headline The Inaugural Grow Up Conference and Expo

Canadian smokers would agree that British Columbia weed is some of the best kush you can find throughout the country. 

Now, residents of the province and guests who choose to travel can learn more about the plant and psychedelics at the inaugural Grow Up Conference and Expo. 

The new event will take place in Victoria, BC, and feature immersive workshops, a psychedelic summit, and even a close-up plant extraction zone. 

3,000 industry experts and businesses will make a three-day appearance from June 20 to 22. One of the main headliners is none other than actor and cannabis advocate Jim Belushi. 

Besides his time on the Hollywood big screen, Belushi has made waves with his homegrown cultivation show on Discovery Channel, “Growing Belushi.” Now, the actor/weed farmer is looking forward to giving a keynote speech at the new BC-based event. 

The Grow Up Conference and Expo comprises educated and experienced industry experts who’ve curated national-profile events for business communities in the arts, broadcasting, media, and technology, notes its website. 

Randy Rowe, Grow Up Cannabis president, explained that the west coast has a “rich cannabis history and culture,” adding that it’s a “natural hub” for industry experts and users alike. 

He, alongside the expo team, hopes to launch discussions about how we can move the industry forward.
